"Burning Fast", Jay Hagmann, 1981, 3:50
Jay Hagmann - vocals, organ, synths, Duval Russell - guitars, synth, vocals, Ronnie Holiday - bass guitar, vocals, Tom Zummerfeld - drums
Recorded between Dec. 1982 - June 1983 at Tom Mallone's Studio, San Francisco, CA, Produced by Duval Russell, Tom recorded and mixed all the tracks from these sessions, entitled the "Burning Fast' sessions. That was to be the title of the EP that didn't get released in 1983-84, hum?
We were joined by William Burroughs' engineer (see the liner notes on his '81 and '82 Rough Trade releases) and Ornette Coleman's favorite white boy in San Francisco, as audio consultant Mr.Stuart Kremsky for the final mix sessions.

"Early Times, Old Grand Dad", Ricky Rocket - Darius Kalil, 1985, 2:18
Ricky Rocket - multi track vocals, Darius Kalil - guitars, Duval Russell - bass guitar, James Fuselier - drums
Recorded April, 1995 at Machine Screw Studios, New Orleans, LA, produced, recorded and mixed by George Piazza. This tune was a staple from the Wayward Youth's sets of the 80's and was a natural song to do once Ricky amd Darius merged with Men in Black in '93 ( for more reasons than we care to get into here ).

"HOT PORK", Jay Hagmann, 1978, 2:55
Jay Hagmann - all vocals and voices, piano, synth, Duval Russell, forward and backwards guitars, James Fuselier - drums, Joe Schiavi - bass guitar. Produced by Duval Russell and Carlos Boll
Recorded at Ultra Sonic Studios, New Orleans, LA, Oct., 1979, just 3 days before we moved to San Francisco. Jay Gallager recorded and mixed this for Loberta's Records' 1980 New Orleans punk compilation album, "N.O. Experience Necessary". A big thanks to WTUL-FM for playing this cut regularly for years. Daruis' brother said he used "Hot Pork" as a sure fire sexual ice breaker for years, gotta try that sometimes.
Finally, I wonder why "Hot Pork" was left off the 2003 CD release of "N.O. Experience Necessary"? the more things change...., anyway, this was the big hit jam!

"Darkness, Darkness", Jay Hagmann, 1975, 1:59
Jay Hagmann - vocals, piano, Duval Russell - guitars, Ronnie Holiday - bass guitar, Screamo Leemo - drums
Recorded between Dec. 1982 - June 1983 at Tom Mallone's Studio, San Francisco, CA, Produced by Duval Russell, Tom recorded and mixed all the tracks from these sessions.
This was one of the songs on the four song demo I did for Jay in Sept. '75. This and "Exocism" made it from that first session to the studio and for this I'm glad. First Duval
